All the Diprofil polishing stones are delivered in packages of 12 pieces except for the ones marked with * (star) in the tables that come in packages of 6 pieces.
Non-standard dimensions and grit sizes are available upon request. Please feel free to send us your inquiry via e-mail.
EDM-series
A very hard structured stone with hard aluminium oxide that has been specifically developed for the removal of the hard “scale” left by the electrical discharge machining process (EDM-process). Click here for a table of the complete range (opens as PDF).
FAO-series
A very accurately graded stone with soft aluminium oxide. Soft bonded with rapid breakdown for final finish work. Click here for a table of the complete range (opens as PDF).
HCM-series
A resilient resin bonded stone that will not scratch or load. Extremely snap resistant. The resin helps produce a silky finish. Click here for a table of the complete range (opens as PDF).
MOL-series
A semi-hard aluminium oxide stone. Widely used for the removal of EDM surfaces and for finishing of heat-treated moulds and dies. Especially good when working on narrow surfaces such as slots and ribs. Stones are oil impregnated to prevent loading. Breaks down slowly and retains shape. SCM-series
A semi-hard aluminium oxide stone that is excellent for all mould and die finishing applications. Fast cutting and breaks down slower than the SSC-series. A good choice for the removal of fine EDM surfaces. Click here for a table of the complete range (opens as PDF).
SSC-series
A medium-soft silicon carbide stone for general mould and die polishing. Breaks down evenly and retains shape. Very fast cutting and will not load. Recommended for use on heat-treated surfaces as well as on milled or turned surfaces. Click here for a table of the complete range (opens as PDF).
